Your new role:

This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced Speech Pathologist to provide strategic, operational and clinical leadership across Bayside Health Service. Working closely with the Director Allied Health, you will lead a multidisciplinary-focused Speech Pathology service delivering high-quality care across hospital, residential and community settings.

  • Lead and manage Speech Pathology services across multiple Bayside Health Service facilities and clinical specialties.
  • Provide strategic direction, workforce planning and professional leadership for a team of speech pathologists across adult and paediatric services.
  • Drive service improvement, clinical governance, quality initiatives and evidence-based practice across the department.
  • Oversee operational management responsibilities including staffing, performance management, financial accountability and clinical supervision.

About you:

We are seeking a collaborative and influential leader with advanced clinical expertise and a passion for delivering high-quality patient-centred care across diverse healthcare settings.

  • Demonstrated high-level clinical expertise in speech pathology, with the ability to support complex clinical and multidisciplinary decision-making.
  • Proven experience leading teams, managing operational priorities and driving service improvement initiatives within healthcare environments.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and advocacy skills, with the ability to provide authoritative clinical advice and professional leadership.
  • Eligibility for practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia and a commitment to fostering excellence, safety and innovation in healthcare delivery.
