About the role
To coordinate, monitor and evaluate the provision of financial services relating to all aspects of consumer finance at The Park – Centre for Mental Health. This includes meetings via Microsoft Teams (digital platform) with Mental Health consumers and treating social workers.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- A sound understanding of or ability to quickly acquire a sound understanding of accounting policies, procedures and practices, and a demonstrated high level of skills and ability in applying this knowledge, including ability to interpret legislative and policy requirements, perform reconciliations and to maintain appropriate internal controls.
- Sound computer skills for spread sheeting, word processing and database applications including financial and patient information systems, with the ability to apply these skills in the extraction and preparation of data for reporting.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to negotiate and consult with clients, staff and external organisations, and effectively deal with demanding situations.
- Ability to supervise a team, set realistic goals and establish priorities to meet deadlines in a changing environment.
- Knowledge of contemporary human resource management practices including workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity, anti-discrimination and code of conduct.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
