About the role
This role will have delegated authority for the West Moreton Health to share relevant information for the High Risk Team (HRT) to inform safety planning, ongoing risk management to deliver coordinated, consistent and timely responses to prevent serious harm or death.
This role will be required to deliver advanced level of quality social work services as a member of the hospital Social Work team to provide clinical leadership in specialist areas of Domestic and Family Violence and Sexual Assault at a Health Service level and a state-wide level as appropriate.

Mandatory Requirements:
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association within Australia for a Social Worker, eligibility of AASW membership. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/ manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
- This position may be required to work across the various facilities throughout the West Moreton Health.
- All Social Work positions are required to provide 7-day availability for After Hours, On-call rostering to respond to clinical emergencies for patients who meet specified clinical criteria at Ipswich Hospital.
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
