About the Role
The position of Paediatric Registrar (in the role of Paediatric Advanced Trainee Fellow) will:
- Pursue Advanced Paediatric Training in Child Protection and Paediatric Forensic Medicine through the context of a multidisciplinary team structure with supervision by specialist senior medical officer with expertise in Child Protection and Forensic Medicine
- Deliver medical services through participation in clinical duties at Fellow level and in accordance with the policies, practices and Values of the Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service.
- Demonstrate commitment to evidence-based practice, research and quality improvement activities, including undertaking clinical audits and clinical risk management activities.
- Assist in the professional development of junior medical staff and the training of medical and allied health students.
There are 2 x 6 months or 1 x 12 month positions available on a full-time basis as well as 2 x part-time (45.6 hours per fornight) positions available with start dates of 1 February 2027 to 6 February 2028.
