We're excited to welcome a Principal Project Manager to our Project Services team within Telecommunications and ICT Business Improvement.

The Project Services team is responsible for delivering ICT initiatives for the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service. The next phase of initiatives includes upgrades, enhancements and expansion to existing deployed applications, uplifts to infrastructure capacity and capabilities across Sunshine Coast Health and new strategic ICT initiatives. The Principal Project Manager will work within a large and complex Information Management (IM)/Information Communication Technology (ICT) environment, ensuring the delivery of valued, integrated and effective business solutions to the project.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the definition, documentation and successful completion of a large scale, complex project in line with Queensland Health project management methodologies.
  • Promote and ensure use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools, including benefits realisation and risk and issue management, to ensure quality project outcomes are delivered.
  • Manage, monitor and report on project related trends and performance against project plans and schedules.
  • Initiate, influence and maintain relationships with and between key internal and external stakeholders, facilitate effective communication channels to promote the successful adoption of change within the business, and foster relationships through lessons learned, feedback mechanisms and management of expectations.

Remuneration value up to $171 568 p.a., comprising salary between $140 115 - $150 371 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO7).
