About the role
Deliver high-level dietetic services within palliative care, providing specialised nutritional assessment and management for complex patients. Work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team while contributing to service development, research, and education initiatives.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide advanced dietetic assessment, care planning, and intervention for patients with complex palliative care needs
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families to deliver compassionate, patient-centred care
- Apply independent clinical judgement and evidence-based practice in managing complex cases
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and education to students and less experienced staff
- Contribute to research, quality improvement, and service development to enhance clinical outcomes
