About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to deliver high-level dental assisting services to eligible patients within the School Dental Service (SDS) under Metro North Oral Health Services (MNOHS). It includes supporting the professional development of dental assistants and ensuring the effective management of staff to meet service agreement targets and maintain budget integrity.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide chairside assistance to Dentists, Dental Specialists, Dental Prosthetists, Dental and Oral Health Therapists, and Dental Students in oral health procedures.
- Monitor and maintain operations of SDS fixed facilities and dental vans including preventative maintenance, repairs, audits and coordination of dental van movements.
- Maintain the clinical environment in a safe and hygienic state and undertake supportive duties, such as maintenance of instruments and equipment.
- Monitor and organise supplies and stores and reorder stock of dental instruments, dental materials and office requisites as required.
