Competitive salary and benefits:

- Base salary range: $57.48 - $61.55 p.h. (Nurse Grade 6, Band 1)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

About your opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Clinical Nurse to join our dedicated Primary Health Team within a youth detention environment. This is a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality, holistic nursing care to a vulnerable cohort of young people who are often disengaged from mainstream health services.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing services within a primary health care model, ensuring care is delivered in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, clinical standards, and practice guidelines. You will play a key role in supporting the health and wellbeing of young people through evidence-based, client-centred care.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, your responsibilities will include coordinating and delivering nurse-led clinics, undertaking health assessments and screenings, supporting chronic disease management, and facilitating health promotion initiatives. You will also liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuity of care, administer medications, and respond to clinical emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
