About the role:
What your day will look like:
- Deliver a mix of specialist and generalist adult mental health services as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.
- Provide hands-on clinical care including crisis intervention, psychotherapy, case management, health promotion, education and early intervention support.
- Work closely with patients, families, internal teams and external providers to ensure connected, high-quality care across the region.
- Participate in outreach services, professional development and quality improvement initiatives that help strengthen mental health services.
- Support students and less experienced staff through supervision and mentorship while continuing to build your own clinical skills and independence.
About you:
Hold qualifications and registration with the appropriate registration authority to practice in any of the following:
- Occupational Therapy
- Psychology
- Social Work
Highly desirable:
- Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under the Mental Health Act 2016
- Post-graduate qualification in mental health or child and youth
- Status as an AASW accredited Mental Health Social Worker
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $132,567 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $43.68 - $58.59 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
