About the role:

What your day will look like:

  • Deliver a mix of specialist and generalist adult mental health services as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide hands-on clinical care including crisis intervention, psychotherapy, case management, health promotion, education and early intervention support.
  • Work closely with patients, families, internal teams and external providers to ensure connected, high-quality care across the region.
  • Participate in outreach services, professional development and quality improvement initiatives that help strengthen mental health services.
  • Support students and less experienced staff through supervision and mentorship while continuing to build your own clinical skills and independence.

About you:

Hold qualifications and registration with the appropriate registration authority to practice in any of the following:

  • Occupational Therapy
  • Psychology
  • Social Work

Highly desirable:

  • Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under the Mental Health Act 2016
  • Post-graduate qualification in mental health or child and youth
  • Status as an AASW accredited Mental Health Social Worker

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $132,567 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $43.68 - $58.59 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
