Your new role:
As a Medical Imaging Clinical Assistant, you will play an important support role within a fast-paced and patient-focused Medical Imaging Department by:
- Assisting Medical Imaging staff with patient preparation, transfers and examinations
- Coordinating patient flow to support efficient imaging services and timely care
- Monitoring electronic worklists and maintaining accurate patient data across multiple systems
- Supporting staff communication and liaising with clinical, nursing, operational and administration teams
- Assisting with equipment setup, stock management and maintaining clean, organised examination areas
- Contributing to a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for patients, visitors and staff
- Participating in a rotating shift roster including day, evening, night and weekend shifts
About you:
You will be a motivated and compassionate team player who thrives in a busy clinical environment with:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach
- The ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Confidence using information systems and managing competing priorities
- A proactive attitude with the ability to respond to changing demands and urgent situations
- A commitment to workplace safety, quality standards and respectful care
- The physical capability to assist with patient handling and transfers
- Allied Health Assistant Certificate III or IV highly regarded but not essential

Logan Hospital:
Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
