Your new role:

As the Senior Administration Officer – Ambulatory Services, you will play a key role in leading and coordinating administrative operations across Allied Health, Cardiac Services and the Day Therapy Unit to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-focused services.

  • Lead and coordinate the day-to-day operations of administrative teams to support the smooth and efficient delivery of outpatient and ambulatory services.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to administration staff, including roster management, performance development, recruitment support and fostering a positive team culture.
  • Oversee patient records, referral and waitlist management processes, ensuring compliance with organisational policies, procedures and best practice standards.

About you:

We are seeking a proactive and organised administration professional who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service and team leadership.

  • Demonstrated experience leading and supporting administrative teams, including staff performance management, coaching and workforce coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of outpatient or ambulatory service environments, including appointment scheduling, patient administration systems and waitlist management practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across multidisciplinary teams and with patients, carers and external stakeholders.
  • Highly developed organisational, problem-solving and continuous improvement skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands while maintaining accuracy, professionalism and confidentiality.
