About the role
Fixed term temporary full-time opportunity to gain experience in our tertiary referral centre that provides a specialised services including haemato-oncology, allogeneic stem cell transplantation, CAR T cell therapy, Haemophilia, thrombosis/haemostasis and a broad clinical consultation service.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Develop, plan and oversee components of continuous quality improvement programs, which ensure that clinical aspects of the service are regularly reviewed and that opportunities for improvement are identified and implemented.
- This position requires the successful application to actively participate in the rostered-on call service including extended hours shifts, nights, weekends and public holidays within the unit and across the hospital.
- Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Health's core values, as outlined above.
- Serve in one or more specialised clinics in the Division of Haematology/BMT and serve on multidisciplinary clinics and services as required by other disciplines for the management of cancer patients.
