About the role
Provide advanced clinical nursing care within a Nurse Practitioner scope in acute mental health, delivering comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, and intervention for consumers within the Mental Health Hospital in the Home (MH-HitH) service. Work autonomously and collaboratively to support innovative, nurse-led models of care that enhance patient outcomes and support care delivery in the community.

- Deliver advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management for consumers with complex mental health needs within a Nurse Practitioner scope
- Work autonomously while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated, patient-centred care
- Provide specialist interventions, including prescribing, referrals, and diagnostic decision-making
- Lead and support evidence-based practice, research, and service improvement initiatives
- Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and professional support to nursing staff and colleagues
