About the role
Deliver evidence-based allied health services within the MHCALL service, providing mental health triage, assessment, and brief interventions via a telehealth model. Support consumers with complex mental health needs, along with their families and carers, within a trauma-informed and recovery-focused framework.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide mental health triage, assessment, crisis support, and brief therapeutic interventions in a telephone-based setting
- Apply developing clinical judgement and problem-solving skills to manage complex presentations under appropriate supervision
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated and consumer-focused care
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate referrals and continuity of care
- Contribute to quality improvement, professional development, and supervision of students as required
