About the role

Temporary full-time opportunity to apply your specialised clinical knowledge, advanced imaging expertise, and problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality Medical Imaging services. Utilise your high-level management capabilities to lead service delivery, ensure the professional competence of staff, and provide expert leadership within a multidisciplinary team.

 

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Use high level management skills to meet the accountabilities of the medical imaging service, the management and professional competence of subordinate staff, whilst providing a specialist leadership role to the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Provide high-level independent clinical decision making and judgment of complex and varied nature, managing teams, challenges, or change, calmly and effectively.
  • Work in collaboration with other referral teams and team leaders to develop best practise in the delivery the medical imaging service.
  • Manage the workforce inclusive of professional development, conflict resolution, occupational safety, and performance appraisal.
