About the role

Fixed term temporary part-time opportunity to work as part of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology multidisciplinary team, you will utilise your clinical expertise to provide compassionate, patient-centred care, supported by a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist, midwifery and administrative staff. This position also offers excellent training, development, and learning opportunities within a supportive and collaborative environment.

 

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Care for patients with early pregnancy complications such as threatened miscarriage, miscarriage, and ectopic pregnancy.
  • Arrange management in accordance with the best interests of the patient and their family
  • Contribute positively to the multidisciplinary team, treating all hospital staff and professional colleagues with courtesy and respect.
  • Formulating a diagnosis based on investigation results with reference to the Qld Maternity Statewide Guidelines for Early Pregnancy Loss and Termination of Pregnancy.
