Manage and lead a business-focussed team in its daily operations in the ongoing support and delivery of the Smart Referrals application suite and Compass Nurse Navigator application in supporting statewide Outpatient and referral management best-practice processes, and systems supporting the coordination of patient care.
What you'll do
As the Manager of the Integrated Care and Solutions team, you will provide strategic direction and liaise with key reference groups and external vendors to support the development and design of health systems aligned with statewide service priorities. You will coordinate the development, implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of key systems to enhance service delivery, while undertaking analysis of service capacity and demand to identify opportunities for improved access and outcomes. In this role, you will lead the development and review of strategies, policies and processes to ensure the effective use of financial, human and physical resources. You will also prepare high-level reports, briefings and advice on a range of health system initiatives. Providing strong leadership, you will foster an outcomes-focused team environment, promote continuous improvement through effective communication and workforce practices, and manage team performance in line with contemporary human resource management principles, including performance development and appraisal.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
- Demonstrated knowledge of work practices and processes involved in clinical service delivery within a hospital environment to develop appropriate local or state-wide solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, management and advice including the coordination of the development and implementation of business processes and information systems.
- Demonstrated high level skills in consultation, communication and interpersonal relations, including the ability to effectively liaise with personnel at all levels in the organisation, external vendors and stakeholder groups
- Proven ability to lead, manage and mentor a team at strategic and operational levels in the integrated operation of complex enterprise information systems to achieve defined service levels.
