About us:

The Gladstone Integrated Service is located in Gladstone and consists of an Alcohol and Other Drugs Service, Adult Mental Health Service, Child and Youth Mental Health Service and an Adult Mental Health Step-Up-Step Down Unit. The Gladstone Integrated Service provides specialised services for the population of Gladstone and the surrounding areas through a range of interventions including assessment, case management, therapeutic treatment, support, consultations and referrals.

About the role:

  • Deliver mental health clinical services including; mental state and risk assessment, care planning, therapy interventions, case management, consultation, health promotion, early identification/intervention, liaison, education and discipline specific intervention as clinically indicated.
  • Understanding factors affecting the mental health of people within bio-psycho-social perspectives.
  • Actively participate in the collection and use of clinical indicators to promote service development and quality improvement activities.
  • Knowledge of developing treatment and management plans working from a consumer strengths perspective and the Recovery model.

About you:

  • The successful applicant must possess a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with a current annual nursing practicing certificate Division one (1) is essential.
  • Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under the Mental Health Act 2016 would be highly desirable.
  • Demonstrate ability or ability to rapidly acquire the skill to provide guidance to less experienced staff members and education to students in adult mental health.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $139,252 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $57.48 - $61.55 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
