We're excited to welcome a Social Worker to our Rehabilitation Unit at Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH).

As a Social Worker in the Rehabilitation Unit at SCUH you will join a multidisciplinary team providing highly complex specialised rehabilitation. 

Key Responsibilities include:

• Demonstrate competent knowledge, expertise and skill in the provision of Social Work clinical services commensurate with level of experience in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, existing evidence-based practice and established clinical protocols.
• Work cooperatively and effectively through active participation in multidisciplinary teams and with patients/clients, their families, carers and other relevant stakeholders to provide high quality patient care and positively influence culture.
• Participate in quality and service improvement activities to continually improve patient/client care, including the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols within the work environment.
• Commit to ongoing professional, service and individual development through participation in activities including professional development activities, professional supervision, supervision of students or clinical assistants, research activities.

Remuneration comprising salary rates: $39.86 - $58.59 p.h. employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (Fixed term temporary part time position, 60.8 hrs p.f. up to 18 October 2026).
