About the role
Provide advanced clinical nursing care within the Surgical Service Line, specialising in prostate care. Deliver expert assessment, coordination, and patient-centred care for individuals undergoing PSA testing and investigation for suspected prostate cancer, supporting safe and timely progression through the diagnostic pathway.

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Deliver advanced clinical nursing care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for patients within prostate care pathways
- Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff in complex care situations
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving to manage changes in patient condition
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support coordinated, patient-centred care
- Contribute to education, quality improvement, and service development initiatives
