About the role

Permanent full-time opportunity to support the Radiographer Operations Manager in leading the Surgical Treatment and Rehabilitation Service Medical (STARS) Medical Imaging service through high-level clinical expertise, operational management, and strategic leadership. This role combines hands-on clinical practice with team leadership, focusing on service expansion, quality improvement, workforce development, and the delivery of efficient, patient-centred imaging services.

 

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Deliver specialised medical imaging operational, clinical and consultancy services to radiographers within the STARS Medical Imaging department.
  • Contribute to the day-to-day management of the STARS Medical Imaging team, including responsibility for management of conflict resolution, performance appraisal and staff development.
  • Lead high performance and teamwork in all aspects of the STARS Medical Imaging service, including facilitating training and education of all staff and stakeholders, and all quality and safety requirements.
