Your new role:
As an Occupational Therapist within the Transitional Housing Team, you will provide high-quality, recovery-oriented care to adults experiencing mental health and homelessness challenges. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will support consumers through assessment, intervention, rehabilitation and discharge planning to achieve positive health and wellbeing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based Occupational Therapy assessment, intervention and rehabilitation services.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary mental health team to support recovery-focused care.
- Manage a clinical caseload, maintain accurate documentation and contribute to discharge planning.
- Participate in service improvement, quality activities, student supervision and professional development.
About you:
You are a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist who values teamwork, person-centred care and continuous improvement. You thrive in multidisciplinary environments and are committed to supporting consumers on their recovery journey.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver evidence-based Occupational Therapy services within mental health settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and contribute to positive consumer outcomes.
- Commitment to professional growth, clinical supervision, quality improvement and recovery-oriented practice.
