Your new role:
As a Clinical Nurse within our specialist Urology Ward, you will play a pivotal role in delivering advanced nursing care to patients with complex urological conditions. Working within a tertiary referral service, you will provide expert clinical leadership, coordinate patient care, support quality improvement initiatives and contribute to education and research activities that enhance patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced clinical care to patients with complex urological needs
- Lead and coordinate patient care across the multidisciplinary team
- Provide clinical guidance, mentorship and support to nursing staff
- Utilise advanced assessment, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Support quality improvement, clinical audits and evidence-based practice
About you:
You are an experienced Registered Nurse with strong clinical expertise in surgical and/or urology nursing. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate sound clinical judgement and are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while supporting the growth and development of others.
You Will Bring
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
- Significant clinical nursing experience, ideally within Urology
- Advanced assessment, care planning and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to manage complex patient presentations and changing priorities
- Strong leadership, communication and team collaboration skills

About us:
Ward 4A provides inpatient surgical care to urology patients. Ward 4A is an 18 bed Urology ward and is a tertiary referral unit for patients requiring surgery and treatment of the urinary system. Ward 4A treats patients with Urological issues including yet not excluding to urinary cancers, urospinal conditions, overactive bladder disorders, and implantable devices.
