The purpose of this role is to provide advanced biomedical engineering and health technology management services, delivering innovative software, data and informatics solutions that support the safe, effective and efficient management of healthcare technologies across Queensland Health.
What you'll do
In this role you will design, develop and implement software and data solutions supporting healthcare technology management, provide high-level biomedical engineering and informatics advice, lead quality improvement and governance initiatives, contribute to software architecture and system integration activities, oversee version control and deployment processes, analyse and interpret healthcare technology data, investigate system and service incidents, deliver training and support to end users and team members, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve technology-enabled healthcare outcomes.
About you
We are searching for someone who:
- Holds a recognised Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Has experience in biomedical engineering, health technology management or related disciplines
- Has software development and systems integration experience
- Can analyse and manipulate data using tools such as Python, SQL, SAS or R
- Has strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Can independently manage projects and deliver high-quality engineering outcomes
