At CQ's Oral Health Service, smiles are shining from Rockhampton and the Capricorn Coast to Gladstone, Banana and the Central Highlands - delivering free dental care to eligible patients with everything from check-ups and X-rays to fillings, dentures, emergency care and more.

About the role:

  • Be the first point of contact at the clinic, delivering a welcoming and efficient reception experience while managing bookings, waitlists and patient flow through the Information System for Oral Health.
  • Coordinate appointments from start to finish, including triaging patients, scheduling, rescheduling and filling vacant slots to keep clinics running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records across electronic and paper systems, ensuring information is up to date and handled in line with privacy requirements.
  • Support the wider team by prioritising tasks, assisting with administrative and procurement activities, and working collaboratively to meet deadlines and keep daily operations on track.

About you:

  • You bring a strong commitment to following procedures and guidelines, with a focus on delivering safe, high-quality services while supporting a positive workplace.
  • You're a confident communicator who can respond to a wide range of enquiries, navigate systems to find answers and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • You work well in a team environment, building positive relationships with colleagues and patients while contributing to a supportive and collaborative workplace.
  • You're comfortable using computer systems in your day-to-day work, with solid skills in data entry, word processing and spreadsheets to keep information accurate and up to date.

What we offer:

Total monthly remuneration value of up to $8,382 p.m. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $39.98 - $44.46 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
