Your new role:

As a Dental Officer with Metro South Oral Health, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred dental care while contributing to the ongoing development of oral health services across the region.

  • Deliver a broad range of general dental services to eligible adult and child patients in accordance with contemporary clinical standards.
  • Promote oral health and provide professional support and advice to Oral Health Therapists, Dental Therapists and other clinicians.
  • Contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives and the delivery of safe, effective patient care.
  • Support the education and supervision of final-year dental students and work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.

You are a motivated and patient-focused dental professional who is committed to clinical excellence and delivering positive health outcomes.

  • Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality, evidence-based dental care and respond effectively to patient needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with patients, colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify and resolve clinical issues, contribute to service improvements and support organisational goals.
  • Commitment to professional development, teamwork and maintaining high standards of patient safety and care.

  • We deliver a myriad of services across Metro South including Hospital in the Home, Rehabilitation, Chronic Disease, Acute Care, Dementia Outreach, Oral Health, and specialist residential care along with delivering numerous other vital community health services.
