The role:
This role is required to oversee and manage delivery of ieMR cloud projects, ensuring successful completion within agreed performance criteria which will enable enhanced health service delivery.
You will promote and ensure that appropriate project management techniques, methodologies, and tools as well as benefits realisation and risk issue management are used to ensure that quality outcomes for projects are delivered. You will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, be able to navigate complexity, and deliver project and other briefing documentation to high quality. Proven experience in delivering ieMR projects would be highly regarded.
Digital Health & Business Solutions delivers large scale complex ICT projects in the area of enabling clinical digital health capability. This includes onboarding the integrated electronic Medical Record (ieMR) across state-wide major hospitals and enhancements to the ieMR; implementing the Cardiovascular Information System (CVIS) and the delivery of the Infrastructure Maintenance Program (IMP), which is uplifting digital hospital ICT infrastructure.
Responsibilities of the Project Manager include:
- Following defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
- Overseeing and managing the definition, documentation and successful completion of large scale, complex program/project(s) in line with Queensland Health project management methodologies.
- Promoting and ensuring the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools, including benefits realisation and risk and issue management, to ensure quality project outcomes are delivered.
- Overseeing and managing the monitoring and reporting of project related trends and performance against project plans and schedules.
- Managing project resources, expenses and l costs against the project forecasts.
- Initiating, influencing and maintaining relationships with and between key internal and external stakeholders, facilitating effective communication channels to promote the successful adoption of change within the business, and fostering relationships through lessons learned, feedback mechanisms and management of expectations.
- Managing capability and resource development by leading and mentoring multi-disciplinary project team(s).
