Your new role:
As a Clinical Nurse within Ward 4A at QEII Hospital, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care while providing clinical leadership within a busy Acute General Medical ward. Working autonomously and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, you will coordinate and deliver specialist nursing care to patients with complex healthcare needs.
- Provide advanced clinical assessment, care planning, coordination and management for patients with complex medical needs.
- Lead and support nursing teams through expert clinical decision-making, mentoring, education and role modelling of best practice.
- Coordinate patient care delivery, staff resources and clinical activities to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality outcomes.
About you:
You are an experienced and motivated nursing professional who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient outcomes and fostering a positive team culture.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical nursing skills, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities within an acute healthcare setting.
- Proven ability to provide clinical leadership, support multidisciplinary collaboration and guide nursing staff through mentoring and education.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous improvement, patient-centred care and maintaining the highest standards of professional practice.

The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.
We're making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need. We'll have more beds, medical wards and expanded intensive care and emergency services planned to be opened by 2027.
