TAFE Queensland Gold Coast is seeking passionate and experienced Carpenters ready to pass on their skills and inspire the next generation of tradespeople.

Based at our Ashmore campus, you’ll deliver hands-on training across workshops, classrooms and simulated environments - bringing your real-world experience to life for students at all stages of their learning journey. This opportunity is full time until July 2027 with possibility of extension.

  • Salary: $92,930 - $105,218 per annum + 12.75% super 
  • 4 weeks Recreation Leave annually

About the role

As a Carpentry Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver hands-on training and assessment in carpentry
  • Teach across workshops, classrooms and simulated environments
  • Develop industry-relevant learning and assessment resources
  • Support students with inclusive and flexible learning approaches
  • Maintain strong connections with industry and training standards

What we’re looking for

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following mandatory requirements:

  • CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent)
  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
  • Strong, current industry experience in carpentry

Note: Proof of qualifications and industry currency/experience to be provided at interview.
