This role will oversee the delivery of large scale, complex communications, stakeholder engagement management, including union consultation and leading business process testing and associated documentation, by ensuring they are completed successfully within agreed performance criteria to enable enhanced health service delivery.

What you'll do

As the Organisational Change Manager, you will lead the establishment of change processes, resources, initiatives and strategies that align with the health service's strategic direction (Destination 2030), recognising the connection between organisational goals and operational activities. You will provide expert advice and work closely with the Executive Management Team and senior leaders to deliver consistent and effective change approaches that meet legislative and industrial requirements. The role will see you lead the development of concept briefs, business cases and comprehensive change plans, including communication, coaching, training, resistance management and sponsor roadmaps. You will define and track success metrics to monitor and report on change initiatives, while identifying trends and external factors that may impact outcomes. In collaboration with internal partners, you will support the development, implementation and education of organisation-wide change frameworks and processes, incorporating both technical and behavioural standards. In addition, you will analyse cultural trends to inform improvements to the employee value proposition and support the ongoing development of a high-performing organisational culture.

About you

We are searching for someone who has:

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in designing and implementing organisational change frameworks, processes, systems, resources and capability in large, diverse organisations.
  • Demonstrated high level communication skills with proven experience communicating, facilitating and negotiating with a wide range of stakeholders, including unions, in a confident and professional manner and influencing outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience in proactively leading and engaging stakeholders in organisational and cultural change processes, being responsive, and delivering on strategic intent.
  • Proven experience in change management and implementing initiatives in large organisations, delivering clear innovation and improvement outcomes within strict timeframes and budgets.
  • Proven ability to guide, educate and support senior leadership and line managers to lead change programs, engage employees and achieve key objectives.
