Your opportunity: 

  • The Registered Nurse (RN) provides clinical and patient-centred care within the Prison Health Services, supporting the facilitation and provision of quality and cost effective nursing services which are consistent with contemporary standards and evidence-informed practice.
  • Deliver timely holistic client care according to scope of practice, within a primary health care model in a prison health setting as specified by registration requirements, NMBA standards and codes, educational preparation, relevant legislation and context of care; and utilising policy, clinical guidelines and protocols; workplace instructions and the Corrective Services Act 2006.

Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) and Temporary Part Time Positions (hours negotiable) from date of appointment for up to 3 months with the possibility of extension and Casual Positions Available

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive salary between $3,348.80 - $4,295.40 p.f (f/t), or $44.06 - $56.52 p.h. (p/t) or $55.08 - $70.65 p.h. (cas), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 5) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., and Temporary Part Time Positions, hours negotiable, from date of appointment for up to 3 months with the possibility of extension and Casual Positions Available) (Applications will remain current for the duration of the vacancy).
