Your new role:

Join Logan Hospital's Emergency Department and play a vital role in delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care. Working under the supervision of Registered Nurses, you'll support patients with diverse emergency health needs while contributing to a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environment. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Assistant in Nursing or eligible nursing student seeking to build their skills in emergency care. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll provide direct patient support, assist with unit operations and help deliver positive patient outcomes.

  • Assist with delegated clinical and non-clinical patient care activities
  • Observe and report patient information and changes in condition
  • Contribute to a safe, clean and organised clinical environment
  • Assist with equipment checks, stock management and replenishment of supplies

About you:

You are a compassionate and reliable healthcare professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment. You take pride in providing excellent patient care, communicate effectively with others and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous learning.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
