Your new role:

As a Registered Nurse in the Kidney Dialysis Unit, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based haemodialysis care to patients with chronic kidney disease across Redland Hospital and the Redlands Satellite Health Centre. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will apply advanced clinical skills, critical thinking and compassionate care to achieve exceptional patient outcomes while contributing to quality improvement, professional development, and a culture of excellence in renal nursing.

About you:

You are a compassionate and clinically skilled Registered Nurse with haemodialysis experience who is committed to delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care and achieving the best possible outcomes for patients living with chronic kidney disease.

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with demonstrated haemodialysis nursing experience.
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and decision-making skills in a complex healthcare environment.
  • Proven ability to operate haemodialysis equipment and interpret, monitor and escalate patient results appropriately.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice, patient safety, quality improvement and continuous professional development.
  • Collaborative team player who demonstrates empathy, integrity and excellent communication skills when working with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams.

Redlands Satellite Hospital – Talwalpin Milbul:

The satellite hospital is also known as Talwalpin Milbul, a name chosen by the Redlands Coast community and local Traditional Owners and Elders. It means ‘Redland Bay alive/active' in Jandai language.

The satellite hospital treats minor illnesses and injuries that aren't life-threatening, and we also have diagnostic services for patients having treatment, including ultrasound, X-ray and pathology.
