Your new role:

This is a unique opportunity to provide strategic leadership in risk management, quality improvement and innovation, helping drive safe, effective and patient-centred healthcare outcomes across QEII Hospital.

  • Lead and coordinate risk, quality and innovation initiatives that strengthen clinical governance and support excellence in patient care.
  • Provide expert advice to executives, managers and clinical teams on risk management, safety, quality standards and compliance requirements.
  • Analyse and report on clinical performance, risks and quality outcomes, using data-driven insights to inform decision-making and service improvements.
  • Drive organisation-wide improvement projects, audits and innovation programs while supporting the implementation of evidence-based practices across multidisciplinary teams.

About you:

We are seeking an experienced and influential allied health professional who is passionate about improving healthcare quality, safety and service delivery.

  • Demonstrated expertise in risk management, quality improvement, clinical governance and innovation within complex healthcare environments.
  • Highly developed communication, stakeholder engagement and leadership skills, with the ability to influence change and build strong collaborative relationships.
  • Proven ability to lead service improvement initiatives, analyse performance data and deliver strategic recommendations that enhance patient outcomes.
  • Strong organisational and project management capabilities, with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a focus on high-quality, evidence-based care.
