Your new role:
As the Clinical Nurse Consultant – Medical Imaging, you will provide advanced clinical leadership and specialist nursing expertise within Logan Hospital's Medical Imaging Department. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will support safe, high-quality patient care while leading service improvement, workforce development and clinical governance initiatives.
In this role you will:
- Lead specialist nursing practice across CT, MRI, Interventional Radiology, Ultrasound and General Imaging.
- Drive quality improvement, clinical governance and evidence-based care initiatives.
- Provide expert clinical consultancy, education and mentorship to nursing staff.
- Support operational leadership, workforce capability and service development within a 24/7 Medical Imaging service.
About you:
You are an experienced nursing leader with advanced clinical expertise in Medical Imaging and a passion for delivering exceptional patient-centred care.
You will bring:
- Extensive Medical Imaging nursing experience, including advanced procedural support.
- Strong leadership, coaching and team development capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience in quality improvement, clinical governance and service redesign.
- Expertise in contemporary nursing practice, clinical decision-making and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
