Your new role:

As the Clinical Nurse Consultant – Medical Imaging, you will provide advanced clinical leadership and specialist nursing expertise within Logan Hospital's Medical Imaging Department. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will support safe, high-quality patient care while leading service improvement, workforce development and clinical governance initiatives.

In this role you will:

  • Lead specialist nursing practice across CT, MRI, Interventional Radiology, Ultrasound and General Imaging.
  • Drive quality improvement, clinical governance and evidence-based care initiatives.
  • Provide expert clinical consultancy, education and mentorship to nursing staff.
  • Support operational leadership, workforce capability and service development within a 24/7 Medical Imaging service.

About you:

You are an experienced nursing leader with advanced clinical expertise in Medical Imaging and a passion for delivering exceptional patient-centred care.

You will bring:

  • Extensive Medical Imaging nursing experience, including advanced procedural support.
  • Strong leadership, coaching and team development capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in quality improvement, clinical governance and service redesign.
  • Expertise in contemporary nursing practice, clinical decision-making and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Logan Hospital:

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
