About the role

Provide high-level Allied Health leadership and strategic direction to Health Practitioners in Cardiac Clinical Measurements, ensuring quality and safe patient care under the Heart Lung Program at The Prince Charles, Redcliffe, and Caboolture Hospitals. This role integrates operational, legislative, research, and educational elements to align with Metro North Hospital and Health Service (MNHHS) priorities, supporting comprehensive service delivery in Cardiology, Thoracic Medicine, and Cardiothoracic Surgery.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Under the clinical governance of the Heart Lung Program, direct the implementation of the MNHHS Vision, Strategic Direction and Goals, achievement of objectives and agreed outcomes in relation to Cardiac Clinical Measurements, including responsibility for strategic focus and managerial direction for these services at TPCH, Redcliffe and Caboolture Hospitals, to include:
  • Strategic leadership and direction for Cardiac Clinical Measurements.
  • Development, implementation and evaluation of a strategic Cardiac Clinical Measurements Workforce Plan to attract and retain a high quality and stable workforce.
  • Development, implementation and evaluation of those aspects of the Heart Lung Program Model of Care relevant to Cardiac Clinical Measurements as well as portfolio projects managed on behalf of the Heart Lung Program and the Allied Health District Executive.
