About the Role

You will join Children's Health Queensland as a Prevocational Medical Education Fellow, contributing to the education, support and development of early-career medical trainees while continuing your own clinical growth in paediatrics.

This is a shared role with 0.5 FTE allocated to the University of Queensland (UQ) for undergraduate medical education and 0.5 FTE allocated to Children's Health Queensland as a clinical and prevocational medical education Fellow within General Paediatrics.

In this role, you will make a meaningful contribution to the learning experience and wellbeing of prevocational doctors and medical students at Queensland Children's Hospital. Working within an established and supportive medical education team, you will help deliver high‑quality training experiences, foster a positive culture of teaching and learning and support excellent patient‑centred care for children and young people.

You will have the opportunity to develop skills in medical education, mentoring and leadership, while being supported to balance educational responsibilities with clinical practice in General Paediatrics. This fellowship offers a unique opportunity to explore a future interest and capability in medical education within a well‑structured, collaborative environment at Children's Health Queensland.
