Your new role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Acute Occupational Therapy team at Logan Hospital. In this permanent full-time role, you will deliver high-quality care across a diverse acute adult caseload including medicine, surgery, stroke, intensive care, geriatrics, emergency and outpatient services. Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will apply advanced clinical skills, provide leadership and supervision, contribute to service improvement initiatives, and support positive patient outcomes.
- Deliver expert Occupational Therapy assessment, intervention and discharge planning across acute clinical settings.
- Manage complex caseloads with a high degree of clinical autonomy and professional judgement.
- Supervise, mentor and support junior clinicians, students and Allied Health Assistants.

You are a confident and adaptable Occupational Therapist who thrives in fast-paced acute healthcare environments and is passionate about delivering person-centred care. You bring strong clinical expertise, leadership capability and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, quality improvement and service innovation.
- Strong clinical knowledge in areas such as general medicine, surgery, stroke, geriatrics, intensive care and emergency care.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to team goals and organisational outcomes.
