Your new role:

In this diverse and hands-on position, you will deliver contemporary communication, graphic design and web publishing services that support Metro South Health's programs, initiatives and community engagement activities. You will:

  • Create, edit and produce a broad range of print, digital and web-based communication materials including newsletters, brochures, fact sheets, marketing collateral and promotional resources.
  • Develop and publish engaging content across intranet and public websites while ensuring consistency with organisational standards and branding guidelines.
  • Provide communication support through copywriting, editing, event coordination and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Collaborate with internal clients and communications team members to deliver timely, high-quality communication and design solutions that achieve organisational goals.

About you:

We're looking for a creative communicator who combines strong design capability with excellent stakeholder engagement skills and a passion for delivering impactful communications. You have:

  • Demonstrated experience in communication, graphic design and digital content creation, with the ability to produce engaging content across multiple channels.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft clear, compelling messages that influence and inform diverse audiences.
  • Highly organised and solutions-focused skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Proficieny in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator), Canva, Microsoft Office and content management systems, with a customer-focused approach to stakeholder relationships.

About Media and Communications

The Metro South Health Media and Communications team provides professional public relations, marketing, media, broadcast, audio visual, web, multimedia and graphic design services to the health service.
