About us:
This exciting position is a newly established role, within the existing Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Service. Working within a multi-disciplinary team lead clinically by a Consultant Psychiatrist you will be working in a specialised Consultation Liaison outpatient team, who work with women, infants, and families in the perinatal period (up to 12 months post-partum) to address complex and severe mental health difficulties in women, infants and family dyads.

About your opportunity:
In this position you will….
- Contribute to the development of clinical practice procedures and protocols, for both the discipline and the multi-disciplinary team, that support the continuum of care.
- Lead and support quality activities and/or research to improve or contribute to the evidence base and strategies for continuously improving mental health practice.
- Apply independent professional judgement, based on evidence informed clinical care, to a complex caseload to continuously contribute to the development of best practice mental health services within the perinatal and infant mental health team and broader MHAODS teams.
