What your day could look like
As a Registered Midwife – Caseload, you'll play a vital role in supporting women and families through one of life's most important journeys. Working within a continuity of care model, you'll build trusted relationships while delivering safe, evidence-based care from early pregnancy through to postnatal support.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Building strong, ongoing partnerships with women, providing personalised care across the full maternity journey
  • Supporting safe, confident births while making informed clinical decisions and coordinating care when it matters most
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, high-quality outcomes for women, babies and families
  • Contributing to a culture of learning, safety and continuous improvement in maternity care

Let's talk about you!

You're a compassionate and confident midwife who values connection, continuity and making a genuine difference in people's lives. You bring both independence and collaboration to your practice, building trust with women and families while working closely with your team. You take pride in delivering respectful, culturally safe care and thrive in an environment where your judgement, expertise and empathy truly matter.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

  • Registration as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Demonstrated experience delivering holistic, woman-centred maternity care
  • Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills in dynamic care environments
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in caseload or continuity of care models and/or postgraduate qualifications in midwifery or a related field.

Most importantly, you'll bring compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage to every interaction—helping shape positive experiences and outcomes for women, babies and families across the Darling Downs.
