What your day could look like

As Senior Program Coordinator, you'll play a key role in strengthening the capability of allied health teams across the region. From shaping workforce development strategies to guiding meaningful training outcomes, you'll work with clinicians and leaders to enhance care quality and support communities across varied settings.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Designing and delivering workforce development initiatives that build capability and improve service outcomes
  • Partnering with allied health leaders and stakeholders to guide projects, manage risks, and drive results
  • Leading evaluation and continuous improvement of programs to ensure high-quality, evidence-based outcomes
  • Influencing and connecting across teams to support innovation, learning, and professional growth

Let's Talk About You

You're someone who balances strategic thinking with genuine care for people and communities. You bring energy to collaborative environments, confidently navigate complexity, and take pride in creating learning experiences that make a lasting difference. You're motivated by the opportunity to strengthen healthcare delivery in regional settings and empower others to succeed through knowledge, support, and innovation.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

  • Relevant allied health qualification and current professional registration or eligibility
  • Strong experience in program or project management, including evaluation and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver education, training, or workforce development initiatives
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across diverse groups

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience working in rural or remote healthcare settings and/or postgraduate study in education, management, or a related field. Most importantly, you'll bring compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation, and courage into everything you do—helping shape a stronger, more connected health workforce.

In this role, your work will directly support growing capability, improving care, and strengthening communities across the region.
