About the role

This is a diverse and rewarding role supporting the day-to-day operations of the Karumba Health Clinic.

You'll contribute to a safe, clean and well-maintained environment while assisting staff to deliver patient-centred care.

Located in a unique remote coastal town, this role offers a lifestyle opportunity alongside meaningful work in healthcare support.

In this role you will:

  • Maintain high standards of cleaning and hygiene across clinic and accommodation facilities in line with Queensland Health guidelines
  • Assist with ward support duties, including basic patient assistance and transport within the clinic
  • Support facility maintenance and operations, including waste removal, equipment handling, and general upkeep

Requirements

  • C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
  • Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
  • This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
  • A period of probation may apply.
