About the role

The purpose of this role is to provide specialised project management skills and services to develop and implement a Trauma Survivor Network across Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH): This role will:

  • Lead the planning, development and implementation of comprehensive project plans, ensuring project objectives are achieved within designated timeframes.
  • Working closely with consumers, interprofessional teams, and key stakeholders to coordinate activities and establish frameworks and resources in alignment with the Trauma Survivor Network initiative.
  • Support the development of clinical, operational and governance processes, to ensure the programs viability and sustainability.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) (2015) - Generic Level Statements (GLS) Nurse Grade 7 and the Queensland Health and Metro North Health's commitments and values, in achievement of the organisational goals and Domains of Practice.
  • Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
  • In consultation with the Trauma Survivor Network undertake project management activities through developing a project plan to progress and manage deliverables in accordance with the project lifecycle.
  • Develop effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve expectations of the Trauma Survivor Network project.
  • Work collaboratively with the project team to provide policy and strategic advice to the project sponsor, and other stakeholders as required to inform decision making and governance direction to achieve project deliverables with minimal slippage.
