Your new role:
As the Senior Financial Governance Officer, you will take the lead in delivering engaging training programs, developing practical resources, and conducting insightful data analysis to inform decision-making and enhance reporting outcomes.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and enhance Metro South Health's Gifts and Benefits framework and governance processes.
- Provide expert advice, education and practical resources to support policy compliance.
- Analyse trends, monitor risks and prepare reports that inform executive decision-making.
- Deliver training, resources and practical guidance to support policy understanding and compliance.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to promote accountability, integrity and continuous improvement.
About you:
You are a proactive governance professional who enjoys translating complex policy requirements into practical solutions. You combine strong analytical capability with excellent communication skills and are confident working with a broad range of stakeholders to influence positive outcomes.
You will bring:
- Experience in governance, risk, compliance, audit, finance or a related environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Excellent written communication skills, including experience preparing reports, training materials and guidance documents.
- The ability to build productive stakeholder relationships and confidently provide advice, training and support.
