Your new role:
Join Logan Endocrine and Diabetes Services (LEADS) as a Staff Specialist or Senior Staff Specialist (Endocrinology), where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality specialist care, supporting multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to teaching, research and service development.
- Provide specialist endocrinology and diabetes services across outpatient, inpatient and outreach settings, including the management of diabetes, endocrinology, gestational diabetes and obesity-related conditions.
- Deliver clinical leadership, supervision and mentoring to junior medical staff while fostering a culture of collaboration, learning and continuous improvement.
- Participate in after-hours on-call coverage, clinical governance activities, quality improvement initiatives, research and service development projects.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, patients, carers and external stakeholders to ensure safe, patient-centred care and optimal health outcomes.
About you:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Endocrinologist who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the ongoing growth and success of a contemporary specialist service.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP), or equivalent, with eligibility for specialist registration in Endocrinology with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in the diagnosis and management of endocrinology and diabetes conditions, with experience working across inpatient and outpatient environments.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor and support medical and multidisciplinary teams while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety, quality improvement and clinical governance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with patients, families, colleagues and external stakeholders while delivering compassionate, patient-centred care.
