About your opportunity:
In this position you will….
- Apply professional judgement to the review and prioritisation of referrals in accordance with clinical need to facilitate appropriate and timely delivery of service.
- Ensure patient care issues are managed, including liaison with other clinicians, clinical departments and external providers and patient related incidents are reported and documented according to hospital procedures.
- Provide direction to assistant and support staff. Assist Director of Medical Imaging, Assistant Director and Modality Section Leaders with departmental nonclinical tasks as delegated.
