The purpose of this role is to provide high-level policy, advisory and governance support to Forensic Pathology and Coronial Services, leading strategic policy projects, supporting service improvement initiatives and delivering expert advice to senior leadership on complex operational and system-wide priorities.
What you'll do
In this role you will lead strategic policy and service improvement projects, provide authoritative advice to senior leaders and stakeholders, prepare high-quality briefs, reports, submissions and correspondence, support governance and coronial system development activities, contribute to project planning and implementation, analyse complex issues and develop evidence-based solutions, represent organisational priorities through stakeholder engagement activities, and support leadership participation in inter-agency forums, committees and strategic initiatives.
About you
We are searching for someone who:
- Has experience leading complex policy, governance or strategic projects
- Can provide high-level advice on sensitive and complex issues
- Has exceptional written communication skills, including briefing and report writing
- Can build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and partner agencies
- Has strong analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities
- Can navigate complex environments and deliver outcomes with professionalism and influence
