Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Base salary range: $64.64 - $69.55 p.h. (HP4)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

About your opportunity
Join a dynamic and collaborative Pharmacy team within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service, where your work will directly contribute to improved patient outcomes and service delivery.
In this role, you will deliver a high level of professional, client-focused pharmacy services within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment. You will work closely with medical, nursing and allied health teams to provide evidence-based care across a range of wards and clinical units.
You will also contribute to education, training and research activities, supporting staff development and continuous improvement in clinical practice. In addition, you will play an important role in promoting the safe, effective and efficient use of medicines, aligning with departmental goals and the broader mission of the Townsville Hospital and Health Service.
This role offers the opportunity to further develop your clinical and leadership skills while delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from a recognised tertiary institution (or equivalent qualification)
- Registration as a Pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Highly desirable
- A relevant post-graduate qualification in a health-related field
- Enrolled in, or completion of, a Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia (SHPA) Residency Program
