About your opportunity:
In this position you will….
- Supervise the day-to-day activities of junior medical staff to ensure that appropriate standards of care are maintained and that junior medical staff are trained to adequately fulfill their duties.
- Provide assistance with surgical procedures and outpatient clinics as directed by the Consultant to which assigned.
- Maintain good communications with all areas and disciplines within the Health Service and with local medical actioners to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the hospital.
- Participate in outreach services to other hospitals in the region and other districts that require outreach.
- Undertake theoretical and practical training in the particular disciple in which the Registrar/Principal House Officer is employed.
